The students from Gutenberg Realschule in Eltville will be here 21-28 May and we'll be out in Germany 25th June - 2nd July. As for the last few years, we'll be giving daily updates via our blog and Twitter.

We fly out from Birmingham on Flight BE7077 which is scheduled to depart at 14:05 and arrive in Frankfurt at 17:00 German time. We need to be in the bus bay for 10:00 for our coach departure at 10:30. If you cannot get to school for 10:00, come in at the normal time and we will ensure your luggage is kept safe.
On our return, we'll be departing Eltville at 08:00 for our coach journey to Frankfurt Airport. We will be flying on flight BE7074 which is scheduled to depart at 11:00 and arrive at Birmingham at 12:00. We hope to arrive back at school at approximately 14:30. We will use the contact tree to advise of any delays.
Luggage
You can take a maximum of 10KG cabin luggage (maximum size is 50cm x 35cm x 23cm) and 20KG checked in luggage. We will not be allowing any excess baggage regardless of whether you are willing to pay the fine. Try to keep some spare allowance for anything you'd like to bring back with you.
Make sure you pack all liquids (shower gel, shampoo, deoderant, etc.) in your checked luggage as you cannot carry liquids over 100ml on the plane. Any liquids you do have in your cabin luggage must be under 100ml and packed in a clear plastic bag. More details on what you can and can't carry on the plane.

The weekend is spent with your host family. Please try to communicate with them, remember to smile :)
Monday
We will be spending the day in Eltville, having a tour of the town, meeting the mayor and having a tour of the Sektkeller (sparkling wine cellar)
Tuesday
We will be taking the Rudesheim ring tour which involves two cable journeys, a walk and a boat ride.
Wednesday
Trip to Mainz during the day. Evening spent at schulfest with host family
Thursday
Day in Frankfurt visiting the zoo and some free time for shopping.
