Citizenship

Citizenship at Belper School is mostly taught through the PSHCE programme, by tutors. It covers a wide range of topics including: Human rights, rights & responsibilities, democracy and diversity in the UK. For more information please see the policy document.

There are a wide variety of activities that students take part in at Belper School that shows their involvement in the local and school community. These include: Projects on issues such as racism, being involved in local charities, Drop In Centre, Aqua box Appeal, Lunchean Club. Raising money for charities including Lepra. Taking part in the National Youth Parliment, School Council, People and Plants, recycling.
