History

The school has a long history of Community Theatre.

In 2011 the school invested in an extension to and major refurbishment of the theatre facilities. This would not have been possible without a generous donation from the estate of a local business man Audley Bowdler Williamson, founder of Deb Ltd.

“AB” was one of the original members of Belper Players. He had a lifelong interest in encouraging and developing performing arts in the town. He died in 2004 aged 88.

How to Book

Bookings should be made directly with the company. The school does not have a Box Office facility. Please see the individual company flyer or website for details
